3. Detailed Specifications

Authentication Infrastructure & Session Security

My Kisah is a native Android social sharing platform built to manage user-generated story feeds and multimedia uploads. The application implements token-based authentication protocols, providing registration and secure login mechanisms. Session tokens are securely persisted in encrypted local storage, enabling seamless app re-entry and automatic header injection for authenticated API requests.

Media Capture & Pre-Upload Pipeline

The media ingestion subsystem integrates CameraX alongside system gallery intents to provide flexible image capture options. Before transmitting high-resolution photos to the remote server, a client-side compression pipeline evaluates image dimensions and applies file compression. This preemptive optimization drastically reduces network bandwidth consumption and upload latency while preserving visual fidelity for the public feed.

Paginated Feed Streaming with Paging 3

Content delivery is orchestrated through Android Jetpack Paging 3, which streams story feeds incrementally from remote endpoints. This architecture prevents memory bloat by loading media chunks on demand as users scroll through the timeline. Each story entry supports optional geolocation metadata, displaying location coordinates alongside user captions and publication timestamps.
